Coca-Cola has returned to Iraq after an absence of nearly four decades. In 1968 the Arab League declared a boycott, leaving Pepsi to dominate the Middle East for soft drinks. Even though this boycott ended in 1991, sanctions and war kept Coca Cola out of Iraq.

Research shows that its trademark is recognized by over 94% of the world’s population and is considered to be the most selling softdrinks and thirst quencher in the world.
