Founded in 2006, Erbil-based TarinNet Company provides Internet services to the regional government, businesses and people of the Kurdish region of Iraq. A technological pioneer, TarinNet was the first Internet service provider to offer secured high-speed wireless Internet connections to Iraq’s Kurdistan region. TarinNet employs more than 40 employees and has more than 10.000 customers.

One of the greatest inventions of our time is in the Internet services field. Without a doubt, the Internet has had a profound effect on almost every aspect of our lives. The formation of the Internet has changed the way we do business, communicate, entertain, retrieve information, and even educate ourselves. TarinNet has a joint venture with Tigrisnet Company to provide wireless Internet all over Iraq and to deliver the best quality and highest connection with the world.

The Services

 

TarinNet values its customers and we try to listen to the wishes of our customers. In order to please as much customers as possible we are providing two different contracts to our clients:

• The Band System:

Suitable for companies, offices, schools etc. By adding a flat panel of 5 GHz we can provide your organization with some bandwidth. You will have the option to choose between Wireless access or a cable. Or you can even have both, depending on your wishes.
The price for this package is $1500,- USD and includes all the installation cabling, etc.
Additional charges: The emolument of band is $250,- USD for each 64 Kbps per month.

• The Card System:

We have a lot of customers that want to have access to the Internet, but don't need a contract. For example business people on a short trip to Kurdistan. Or our own citizens that need to check up on their email at home. To target the group of all the customers that occasionally want access to the Internet through our wireless network we sell pre-paid Internet-cards with a unique password, that will allow you to use our network in all the areas we cover. We sell the following cards:

• Month Card - valid 30 days from the date of first use,  $30,- USD
• 100 Hours Card – over a period of 60 days from the date of first use you can access the network for 100 hours, $20,- USD
• 40 Hours Card - over a period of 40 days from the date of first use you can access the network for 40 hours, ID 15000 ID
