The company with an international image is one of the top players Kurdistan. We are looking for a Financial Accountant to strengthen the Finance Team.

Position Description

As a Financial Accountant you are responsible for the day-to-day operational accounting activities and for the complete month end close process and timely reporting for the business units. More particularly, you will:

  • Initiate and organise meetings in order to inform or get information from financial contacts and/or other parties involved;
  • Initiate and coordinate the budget and forecast process and establishment of the content and consolidation of budgets and forecasts in close cooperation with the line departments involved;
  • Analyse and comment on budget proposals and forecasts and communicate on this with the management concerned;
  • Analyse the budget/actual comparison and write the explanation and prepare the periodic (monthly, quarterly and annual) management reports;
  • Participate in projects initiated by Finance or by line departments;

  • Used to work on own initiative
  • Dedicated to financial accuracy
  • Possess well developed personal integrity to be able to handle sensitive information in a proper way

Educational Requirements and Previous Experience

  • Level of thinking: masters or bachelor degree in Financial Control, Economics or related.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written. Our customers communicate in English
  • 1- 3 years of experience in financial control and/or analysis.
  • Extensive training and use of IT is required
  • PC, office package, Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • ICT, be used to the way of communication both by mobile phone, SMS and e-mail. Also experience in research and analyse of internet information is a merit
