Ster Security Company is a private Security company within Ster Group operating in the Northern part of Iraq. It might be obvious to everyone that this is a sensitive business but also extremely important, since the interest of foreign companies to invest in the future in this area is booming. The local knowledge of security is at top level. We now need expand our capacity to handle our projects, both from an administrative and strategic point of view. The main operation of the security business is to be geographically where and when the customer needs security, i.e. mobility is a corner stone. We run several projects at the same time and flexibility in use of resources is basic. The coordination of the operation is crucial and challenging. We need strengthen our team for this and to find the right person to join the team.

Position Description

  • Administrate requests from several different parties such as the governmental representatives, customers and different suppliers
  • Assist the Security manager by preparing and administer letters, meetings and other kinds of information
  • Daily cooperate with financial accountant and other staff of the office.
  • Coordinate common activities with the head office of Ster Group and other companies within Ster Group
  • Be the focal point for general telephone service and e-mail administration in order to support the management of Ster Security Company
  • Report to Security Manager

Profile of Candidate

  • Proven ability of complex and critical thinking
  • Flexible in managing contacts and many different requests in parallel
  • Translation both simultaneously and by written to and from English and Kurdish is critical
  • Used to work on own initiative
  • Dedicated to administrative quality issues such as keeping track on each and every entity within an outspread operation
  • Possess well developed personal integrity to be able to handle sensitive information in a proper way

Educational Requirements

  • Relevant academic background at least BSc or equivalent
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written. Our customers communicate in English
  • Fluent in Kurdish. The communication with government and suppliers is mostly in Kurdish
  • Arabic is an extra merit

Previous Experience Requirements

  • Extensive training and use of IT is required
  • PC, office package, Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • ICT, be used to the way of communication both by mobile phone, SMS and e-mail. Also experience in research and analyse of internet information is a merit
  • Experience in Human resource management is a merit
